Recently I had a fantastic opportunity to be part of a short movie that was made to promote the event All About Women which will take place at the Sydney Opera House on March 5. Three young girls spoke about what they wanted to be when they grew up. Career aspirations included a helicopter doctor, a marine biologist and an author. When the girls were asked to think about women doing those jobs, well they were a little bit stumped. Cue some women who do those jobs for real and well, you’d best watch the video to see what happened next…
All About Women 2017: Seeing is believing
We tell children that they can be anything, but sometimes aspiration requires a little inspiration. In the lead up to All About Women, we introduced three ambitious young girls to a group of inspirational mentors. Produced by the Sydney Opera House in collaboration with our Proud Partner Maserati ANZ, Event Partner of All About Women. Directed by Versus: bit.ly/2gDTtLd #allaboutwomen #sydneyoperahouse

I really want to be an author or a doctor. I get really sad when people get hurt, so I would like to help them. You are so inspiring Jacqueline! Last year I got my story that I wrote published into a small paper book and now theres copy’s of it all over my school. I’m so proud of it and I was so excited when it happened.
Congrats, Shari! How are you.
That’s brilliant Shari – and being a doctor is such a noble thing.
Best wishes,
Jacqueline
