Well this week has been very exciting as I finished the structural edit for Alice-Miranda in Scotland and have been doing lots of interviews and posts about Kensy and Max. Although the official release date is Monday 26 February, I’ve seen a few pictures from shops around Australia who have received their stock early – I can’t wait to hear the readers’ verdicts (actually that’s quite a terrifying thought but at the same time I do want to know what you all think!).
If you are at a loose end in Sydney this Sunday I will be appearing at the State Library of NSW where I will be launching a new reading program and talking all things Kensy and Max, Alice-Miranda and Clementine Rose. It starts at 11am and you can register here.
On Sunday 4 March we are having the official Sydney launch party for Kensy and Max at the NSW Writers’ Centre in Rozelle. It’s FREE but you need to register and you can also pre-order your copy of the book so you can be one of the first to have it signed. It’s going to be so much fun with spy activities, yummy treats and I’ll be giving a talk and reading too.
The following Sunday 11 March we will be in Melbourne for the official Kensy and Max launch there. Again it’s a FREE event but you need to register and you can also pre-order your copy of the book too.
So I hope to see you somewhere very soon and I will be travelling to other parts of Australia in the coming weeks so watch this space!
