Alice-Miranda Holds the Key – Garden Party Launch events in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra in January!

You all know how much I love a launch party (Alice-Miranda and Clementine Rose are pretty keen on them too) and to celebrate the release of Alice-Miranda Holds the Key, we’re hosting not one, but five garden parties around Australia in January. Join us in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Canberra for these fabulous, FREE events.

Make flower crowns in the craft tent, learn to draw Alice-Miranda, hunt for treasure and act in the exciting readers’ theatre! Be the first in Australia to buy a signed copy of Alice-Miranda’s latest adventure. Recharge at the cake and lemonade stall; BYO picnic blanket. You must register at https://penguin.com.au/go/gardenparty to receive your activity pack!

BUT WAIT – THERE’S MORE! Penguin Random House Australia have teamed up with the fabulous folks at Child Magazine for a super duper writing competition where the winner will feature as a character in the next Alice-Miranda book. For all the details click on the following link http://www.childmags.com.au/win/national/8992-alice-miranda-is-looking-for-you-and-inviting-you-to-a-garden-party

Good luck with the writing competition and don’t forget to register for the garden party near you so we can all celebrate in style!

Hi Jacqueline,

For the writing competition, does it have to be just one scene?
Or can it be a short story?

Thanks,

It’s up to you Elena but you have a maximum of 300 words I think – but check the CHILD website for details.
