Alice-Miranda Takes the Lead

Hello everyone,

It’s hard to believe that it’s already the end of January. I have been rather quiet over Christmas and New Year – mostly because my best grown up friend, Jacqueline Harvey has been very busy helping me write a new adventure. Alice-Miranda Takes the Lead is in the shops today! I thought it wasn’t coming until next Tuesday but today Jacqueline saw it in a lovely bookshop in Wahroonga NSW called Novella. I am so excited – the cover is very pretty. Last term at school the girls were telling me about a legend of a witch who lives in the woods. One afternoon Millie and I went out riding with a new girl, Sloane and our friend Madeline and let’s just say that Bonaparte (my pony) wasn’t on his best behaviour. I ended up far from home and I met a lovely new friend. Her name is Miss Hephzibah but I don’t want to spoil the surprise if you’d like to read the book. We also had a play at school and I got to play one of the lead roles. Anyway, I can’t wait to hear what you think about the new story. I promise I”ll write more often again now that school is back.
