Brisbane High Tea and Children’s Bookshop Beecroft

Hello Everyone,

It was such a treat to spend the afternoon at Brookwater Golf and Country Club, south west of Brisbane for a delightfully delicious high tea to celebrate the release of Alice-Miranda in China. It was wonderful to see so many people turn out for the event and I was thrilled that we raised over $350 for Dymocks Children’s Charities as well. Thanks to John from Dymocks Brisbane for supporting our book sales and thanks to everyone who came along – some from as far away as the Sunshine Coast – I really appreciate how much effort that takes and your support of Alice-Miranda and Clementine Rose and me is greatly appreciated!

We also had a fabulous launch party at the Children’s Bookshop in Beecroft. It is always a pleasure to visit Paul Macdonald and his team – we have had many an event there and I’m sure will continue to do so in the future. Big thanks to my special junior publicist, Justine who created all the beautiful lantern decorations and wrote the names on Post It notes like a professional!
