Last month’s newsletter competition was about all those funny, silly, slightly mad and often hilarious things that teachers do. Having been one myself for a very long time, I have more than a few stories of my own. But this time it was your turn to entertain me and without further ado, here are our three winners!
My teacher brought a branch from a ‘pasta tree’ (pasta glued to a branch), famous in the Italian town ‘Allofropi’ (April Fool!) and spent the whole lesson making us write notes about how the town people made the harvested & packaged the pasta. Nobody guessed!
My teacher in Years 5 & 6 made up a song about the sections of the brain to the tune of the Macarena and made us sing it at the top of our lungs!
We were in our classroom when our teacher went to open the door because it was quite stuffy. Then the door handle fell into her hand, so we got locked in the classroom. We had to use her phone to ring someone to come and get us out.
Thanks for your funny tales!
