Happy Publication Day to Clementine Rose and the Seaside Escape

March 31, 2014 by Jacqueline Harvey 20 Comments

Hello Friends,

Hope you’re all having a fantastic time at school this term.  I can’t believe it’s almost Easter.  I’m so excited that my best grown up friend, Jacqueline Harvey has a new book out tomorrow.  It’s called Clementine Rose and the Seaside Escape and it’s a gorgeous adventure and guess what?  I was at the seaside too with Millie and Jacinta and we met Clementine Rose and her little piggy Lavender and her new friends Freddy and his big sister Della.  She’s a bit of a handful.  I think she might give Alethea a run for her money but you’ll have to read the story to find out what happens.

I hope you love it as much as I do.

Lots of love,
Alice-Miranda xx

    Hello Aida,

I’m so pleased that you enjoyed Alice-Miranda’s adventure in Japan. In answer to your question, Alice-Miranda is currently optioned for a television series which means that there is a company who are hoping that they will be able to make the books into a TV show. Fingers crossed! I’ll post updates on the blog as I’m able. In the meantime make sure you sign up for the newsletter as you get lots of exclusive content each month including competitions – you can sign up on the website. Best wishes, Jacqueline Harvey

      Hi Sana,

Alice-Miranda is currently in development to be made into a television series. I’ve read the first couple of episodes and I’m really hopeful that the project will get the green light to be made. It’s going to be fantastic but it will take a few years I think.

      Best wishes,
      Jacqueline

    Hi, Jaqueline.
2 days ago, you came to my library at school, Ascham. After you told those stories about your year 4 class, that really inspired me to read all of your books and I can’t wait till’ the new book comes out, Alice Miranda at camp. You are so cool!

Thanks Anya. If you’ve read Clemmie up to #10 you might like to read # 13 – the new one as I reveal where she really came from! It’s not the last book but it does tie up some loose ends.

I love writing about different places and today I’ve been writing about Hollywood and some of the places there.

      Best wishes,
      Jacqueline
