    Hi Jacqueline!
I just finished reading AM book 13 twice and I love it. I will definitely get AM14. Thanks for telling me where those events are in Sydney. I always check the website twice a week! Haha! Crawf looks very funny! My friend Anna and I love AM and we asked the librarian at our school to get AM in China as soon as it comes out!
    Kind Regards,
    Anastasia

      Hi Liv

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me about your love for the stories! it is so flattering that the children who inspire me to write, enjoy reading the books as much as I enjoy writing them.

      Hi Elsie,

I get them from all over the place but travelling and meeting lots of children is certainly a big part of where I get ideas from. You never know where a great idea will come from so I always have a notebook or my phone handy do I can write down notes. The idea for the latest Alice-Miranda book I’m working on came from thinking about what would be the biggest disaster a grocery chain could have – food poisoning – but even worse if they can’t find the source.

Have fun with your own writing.

      Best wishes,
      Jacqueline

    Hi Ms Harvey!
Just asking that if I you have started CR book 13? If you have started writing it, can you roughly tell me the plot? And how about AM 16?( I know you have already started 15 so I am not going to ask) Here is some ideas,
Lucinda swapped schools and joined AM’s school. Then she fell in love with Lucas and then Licas started to avoid her and hang out with Jacinta a lot more and AM told Lucinda that Lucas and Jacinta and like’ friends ‘ and Lucinda did not love Lucas anymore but were friends!
    And for CR
CR meets AM and AM and her family and friends invite them to Highton Hall where Clarrissa and Drew have their wedding. Saskia throws a major tantrum about not being a flower girl and AM scolds her and in the end Saskia and her family moves away cos Sophie returns and now AM and CR are good friends
So, what do you think? I hope you like my ideas!

      Hi Aala,

Thank you for your lovely words. I am inspired and humbled that the readers enjoy reading the stories as much as I enjoy writing them!

Alice-Miranda 15 is about poisons, revenge, misunderstandings, friendships and loyalty. I had more than a few tears in my eyes as I wrote some of the opening chapters, but am glad that Alice-Miranda and her friends are returning home for this adventure.

I hope that you enjoy Alice-Miranda in China and Book 15, which will be released in February 2017.

      Best wishes

      Jacqueline

    Literally.
I absolutely love every one of your books!
I am reading the Alice-Miranda series right now and I am going to the Alice-Miranda In China book release!
My friends and I are super excited to go!
I recently bought Alice-Miranda To The Rescue and I was wondering if you loved writing the book?
Also I was wondering about the difference between AM and CR?
    Have a great day.

      Hi Matilda,

Thank you for your excitement and enthusiasm. I’m excited about the Sydney Yum Cha launch too- it’s incredible how quickly the seats have been sold- we are almost sold out, but hopeful that we can find some more space, so that more readers can come along.

There will be quite a few other opportunities to celebrate the launch, as I am about to embark on a tour in country New South Wales, South Eastern Queensland, Wagga Wagga and Melbourne, before an international tour in October and November.

I enjoyed writing Alice-Miranda to the Rescue– I can honestly say that I cannot choose a favourite story. I thoroughly enjoy the travelling and research, the building intrigue and characters and the conclusions of them all!

Why not ask me the question about the difference between Alice-Miranda and Clemmie at the launch?:)

      Best wishes

    Hello Ms Harvey,
its been a while since i wrote to you last. I just read the first 37 pages of Alice-Miranda in China at the random house Australia website and it is so amazing! I can’t wait to see whats going on between Jacinta and Lucas! Its all so intriguing and exciting! Its funny that the family of gymnasts in China don’t think that the home stay buddies are going to be good gymnasts. They’ll get quite the surprise when they meet Jacinta. I can not wait to read the rest!

    Huge Lucinta supporter,
    Maya

      Hi Maya,

I’m so glad that you enjoyed the Alice-Miranda in China “sample”! I don’t think that readers will be disappointed with the latest twist in the Lucas and Jacinta relationship- Jacinta’s love for gymnastics is also a focus in the story. She certainly plays a starring role in many ways.

Only one day till the official release date:)

      Best wishes

      Hi Harriet,

Thank you for your kind words! Clementine Rose and the Paris Puzzle was released last month, but I have not yet started writing Book 13. I know that there will be a wedding and have lots of characters and possibilities swirling around in my head- but I do not have a title, yet!

I have recently sent the first draft of Alice-Miranda 15 to my editor, and managed to write virtually the entire story before the title of the book “hit me”.

      Best wishes
