On Wednesday, 2 October, young fans of the bestselling Alice-Miranda series are invited to join author, Jacqueline Harvey at a special Children’s High Tea at The Tea Salon to celebrate her new book Alice-Miranda Shines Bright.
Within the enchanting surrounds of The Tea Salon on Westfield Sydney’s Designer Gallery (level 4), children will feast on triple tier stands filled with vanilla cupcakes topped with pale pink frosting, house-made sausage rolls and ribbon sandwiches as Harvey talks about her pint-sized heroine’s latest adventure.
Alice Miranda Shines Bright is the eighth book in the series about a perpetually positive seven-and-a-quarter-year-old who has a flair for solving mysteries. Over a quarter of a million Alice-Miranda books have been sold in Australia alone. Copies of Alice Miranda Shines Bright are available for purchase at the event for $15.95, with young fans invited to have their book signed by the author.
The Tea Salon’s Children’s High Tea with author Jacqueline Harvey is taking place on Wednesday, 2 October from 10.00am to 11.30am. Tickets cost $25pp and bookings are essential. To confirm your attendance ring 02 9233 2231 or email info@theteasalon.com.au

    Hi Jacqueline

What a lovely event to celebrate a new book. I have just finished reading the series and loved them and am now starting the Clementine Rose books.

I am by no means a ‘young fan’ but love the series and have been recommending them to young members in my library.

I need to add some extra names and hyphens to my name to keep up!
